This vintage 1940’s dresser from the Salvation Army gets revamped with some soft white and champagne metallic paint and decorative details. The knobs are originally from England so those were left untouched and the piece was sanded in spots to give it a more antique, vintage feel. Using a brocade style stencil the doors were given creative detail and a shabby chic look. For only $200 for the dresser and supplies this is perfect for any living space in your home.
These 2 pieces were even better then thrift store finds.. they were FREE! Given to me by friends who were throwing them away, I purchased colored stain and polyurethane, knobs and a piece of beveled glass. After some much needed love and care and a couple coats of minwax, these beauties are now ready for your television or favorite coffee table book.
