The summer is officially here and that means most of us are focused on our outdoor spaces. Whether it’s installing a new pool, building a deck or painting the shutters on our house, summer time symbolizes exterior DIY projects gallore. In this video, you’ll see how we ripped up the original wood deck and stairs and installed a new Azek deck with handrails and spindles.

We also added new support by building 2 columns with piers made of blue stone and cultured stone.

The new stairs were cut with a Dewalt circular saw & jig saw
and after installaltion, a composite material was nailed into the sides and backs of stairs.
The customer wanted the new posts to be closer together for the handrail so those were re-cut and installed as well.
The deck was installed using hidden fasteners which were super easy to nail in and click each board into place.
What a beautiful deck! Thanks for showing us the steps and the before and after photos. Wow!
